IGNITE JEE Results and JOSSA Allotment Process

JEE 2 results 

Joint Entrance Examination is National Level Exam for candidates conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) every year. A huge number of candidates have participated in this exam that has been conducted for June (Session 1) and July (Session 2) month of the year.

JoSAA

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2022 has been set up by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 114 institutes for the academic year 2022-23. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 33 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.

JoSAA allotment

The JoSAA 2022 admission process begins on September 12, 2022. JoSAA allocates the seat for admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other-GFTIs colleges. Candidates are allotted seats based on the marks secured in JEE Main/JEE Advanced merit, preferences, category and availability of seats. To check the seat allocation result of JoSAA 2022, the candidates have to enter their login credentials.

Candidates with allocated seats have to download their provisional allotment letter. They also need to pay the fee of Rs.35,000/- to confirm the seat. Aspirants belonging to the reserved categories will only need to pay Rs.15,000/-. After paying the fees, the candidates must verify documents at the allotted Reporting Centre (RC). After the document verification is completed, the candidates must report to their respective allotted colleges to confirm their admission.
